Temporary Accommodation through the Canterbury Earthquake Temporary Accommodation Service (CETAS).

This is a Government supported temporary accommodation option for individuals and families who require short term accommodation while their EQ damaged home is repaired or rebuilt as a result of the Canterbury earthquakes.

CETAS is a joint venture between the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE).

Eligibility conditions include verification of home ownership or tenancy and confirmation of repair or rebuild time frames with an end date identified. Due to the increase in demand for temporary housing in Christchurch please be advised that locating accommodation in the villages is dependent upon availability at the time.

Eric Adam Way is part of the Rangers Park subdivision which includes Fitzpatricks Lane. Rangers Park is located off McGregors Road in the suburb of Linwood, Christchurch.

There are 40 homes in Rangers Park - 14 two ($287pw), 2 three ($353pw) and 2 four ($439pw) bedroom single story stand-alone houses, as well as 22 three ($353pw) bedroom town houses at Rangers Park. 15 houses are accessible with level entry, wet area showers and bathroom grab rails. 2 of the two bedroom units are semi furnished ($355pw).

The CETAS Matching and Placement team establish a residential tenancy agreement for all households who meet eligibility requirements and wish to reside at Rangers Park. Two weeks rent is required for bond as well as two weeks rent-in-advance on all tenancy agreements.

Pets including dogs (maximum 2) are welcome providing owners have them registered and vaccinated.
