You can follow the sun around the ouside of the house all day with a private courtyard and separate open deck off the dining room, great indoor outdoor flow. Plenty of off street parking or you can use it for tents, park the boat, or simply play with the kids.

Come here if you don't want to have to drive to the shops or the surf beach.

If fishing is your fancy there is a short drive to the boat ramp or off the rocks, and you can check out how many juicy snapper you can haul in. The kids never get tired of paddling in the beautiful calm waters of Anzac Bay, exploring rock pools at low tide or wading and floating in a lovely safe estuary.

Roast the chook and pack a picnic basket and decide what takes your fancy: over the hill at the north end of the beach and go one or two bays over and take in the wonderful scenery and salt sea smells. Go back to Anzac Bay and take a short walk over to Shelly Bay or on a more historical note take the walk up the hill to the Anzac mount/lookout. The whole Karangahake/ Waihi area has much to offer with gold mining history, mine tours, and vintage railway trips, and is only 10 - 15 minutes drive away. But then there is just the simplicity of sitting on the beach, slip, slop, slap and wrap, umbrella up and the kids digging and moulding the sand sculptures, you reading that book youv'e been trying to get to for months and just kicking back. No pressures to do anything after all you are on holiday.
