Our little piece of paradise is the perfect weekend (or longer) escape from the city.

We are situated on the edge of a private conservation area which is in the process of introducing Kiwis. In the meantime we have tui, wood pigeon, fantails etc. as well as a private bush walk to a Kauri grove on the property.

If you prefer to be less energetic, there is a selection of books to enjoy in your private garden. Or just relax in the hammock and laze the days away.

The stunning views over farmland to Little Barrier Island are incredible at sunrise!

Chickens, a vegetable garden and an orchard provide produce which is available to guests in season.

The studio style accommodation is self-contained, simple and comfortable. It is separate from the main house to ensure your privacy and the beaches,cafes and shops of Mangawhai are a mere 10 minute drive away.
