Kakariki cottage is a charming three bedroom holiday home in a great central location for a getaway to Waiheke Island. The newly refurbished two storied cottage is well equipped for families or a group of adults looking to holiday together. Guests of all ages enjoy exploring the terraced vegetable gardens and the spacious covered deck is a perfect spot for relaxing in the dappled shade or sharing a meal. The modern eat in kitchen (with plenty of room for a few chefs), lovely lounge with sliding doors to the deck, full bathroom with laundry and bunk area are on the main level. Two additional bedrooms (one bedroom with a queen sized bed and another with two king single beds) plus a small deck with beautiful views are on the second level.
Kakariki cottage is located on the fringe of Oneroa within 15 minutes walk to the main village shops, cafes, galleries and white sandy beach of Oneroa. A 10 minute walk from the cottage brings you to lovely little oneroa beach which has a large play ground, BBQ area and dairy. Mudbrick and Cable Bay vineyards are within 5 minutes drive and stunning Onetangi beach and the vineyards of the Onetangi wine valley are a 15 minute drive from Kakariki Cottage.
