I am shifting to Auckland for a couple of years to be near my mother who is ill. I don’t want to shift all my worldly belongings so would be ideal if I could do a straight furnished house exchange with a family who want to shift from Auckland to a rural property in the Bay of Islands. Rent is negotiable depending on what we work out.

3-4 bedroom split level house on large park-like section. Rural 5 acre block property – about 3k from shops. Fantastic views. Very large lounge/dining with log-burner fire and separate large kitchen downstairs / 3 bedrooms, bathroom, separate toilet upstairs / another bedroom, laundry &
toilet, double garage in basement

You would have to like mowing lawns and gardening. Property is as “lifestyle” as you want to make it; at the moment I only have a few chooks, but there is also a big paddock.

20 minutes to Kerikeri, Kaikohe or Paihia , 5 minutes to Kawakawa.
