It is time for us to move on and we are selling our lovely home. We love this house that we have spent many years improving. The lounge open plan and as large as possible. We have extended the house downstairs creating a massive deck and two additional rooms with separate shower and toilet. The deck is very private and you can comfortably sit and enjoy the view across the valley of Parakiore Mountain/Piano Hill. The deck is so big we would put a marque on it when entertaining with a BBQ permanently located outside adjacent to the front door.

There’s a drop-down clothes line on the face of the house, on the deck, which gets the sun all day and is less than a dozen paces from the laundry. The kitchen is compact and friends can sit on a stool at the bench top, drink and chat while you prepare food. All the upstairs bedrooms are of good size for a family. The upstairs bathroom has a Shub (shower-Tub) and is great for kids. Because the house is above than the road this gives it added security. There are security lights fitted and the rear garden is fenced and flat which is safe and private for family fun.

The smaller room downstairs can be an office or additional bedroom and it is fitted with a kitchen sink and cupboards. The larger room could be used as a TV theatre or bedroom. The downstairs could also bring additional income if you wanted a boarder as it is very private with its own access and parking area

The street being a cul-de-sac is usually quiet and the neighbours are very friendly. Bus stops are on Station Rd a 5 min walk. Convenient to both Kamo and Tikipunga schools, shops, doctors, golf, sports clubs and an easy drive to Whangarei.
