In 1929 the owners of this new bungalow had the pick of the elevated sites in Picton. They were proud of their large veranda, the all day sun and the many design features a home of this standard displayed. Many years later the kitchen was upgraded, the garage had burnt down but a new sleep out and carport was built to replace. The grounds had been subdivided for easier maintenance but the grandeur of the home couldn't be hidden. Today there's a new roof and pergola but the same large rooms host the good times the present family have in their Picton holiday home. The grounds are easily maintained as holiday time is precious.
