This prime 7.91 hectare Te Muna Road vineyard located 7kms from Martinborough was established by the vendors in 1997 and those vendors are now motivated to sell.

Located between the highly respected Escarpment Vineyard and Julicher Estate on the Te Muna Terrace this vineyard is well established as a supplier of premium Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. Grape contracts with three wine companies are currently in place for each of the varietals and could continue after the 2014 harvest if required by the purchaser.

There are 16,270 vines - all on grafted rootstock - planted at 1.94mvine spacing and 2.2m row spacing. The Pinot Noir (3.17 ha) and Sauvignon Blanc (2.76 ha) were planted in 1998 and the Pinot Gris (1.02 ha) in 1999.

Over the past six harvests, total average production has been approximately 68 tonnes, with Pinot Noir averaging almost 24 tonnes; Sauvignon Blanc almost 32 tonnes and Pinot Gris almost 12 tonnes.

The vineyard is fully irrigated and there are two Frostboss wind machines for frost protection. Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand Accreditation has been in place since 2003.
