The home is located in a quiet suburban street between Main South Rd and Yaldhurst Rd. My mother has been very active in keeping her home in good order and some of the improvements over the last years are: new aluminium joinery, kitchen cabinetry, bathroom cabinetry, new hotwater cylinder, new heatpump, new spouting and roofing tiles recoated.

The home suffered minor damage during the September 2010 earthquake. The four areas of damage, 1, 2, 3 and 4 have been repaired.

1. Garage. Cracks in the mortar joints of block wall. Cracks between the Gib ceiling and block wall. Cracks in solid plastering on foundation between garages.

2. Bed1. The hotwater expansion pipe leaked around the seal on the roof resulting in water stains on the ceiling and wall adjacent to the hot water cupboard.

3. Concrete Floor. Minor cracks in the following rooms, lounge, dining and hall. There was no vertical displacement on any of the cracks.

4. Driveway. IAG currently repairing driveway.
