WHIRINAKI BEACHFRONT
Two double bedrooms both with built-in robes and extra wide windows (main bedroom window faces the sea). Bathroom with sep. bath, shower and toilet.
Large, sunny loungeroom with panoramic views of Mahia to Cape Kidnappers.
Open-plan dining/kitchen with ranchslider opening on to a large covered back porch overlooking a private outdoor paved area and rock garden, perfect for barbeques etc. Large back yard and raised garden bed – enjoy growing your own veges, herbs and flowers.
Double garage with remote, power and long work bench.
Lovely and warm in winter and cool in summer. Woodburner has a wetback - turn off the hot water cylinder in winter and save $ on power! The wood shed is all ready and packed to the rafters with enough dry wood and kindling to last through the rest of winter and beyond (purchase of wood negotiable).
Surfcast or bring your contiki, kayak and quad bike. Go mountain biking across the road in the Esk forest, or enjoy a relaxing ride along quiet Whirinaki and North Shore roads while taking in the fabulous sea views. Great swimming in summer at nearby Waipatiki beach or cool off in the Esk River. Watch gannets dive, spot dolphins, orcas and the occasional seal resting. Tui and bellbirds in the trees out the back.
An easy 15 mins drive to Napier, or five minutes to Bay View. School buses for Napier and Eskdale school leave from Whirinaki Road and Bay View. At Onehunga Rd there is a playgroup, playground, tennis and soccer clubs.
Visit the local vineyards - dine at Crab Farm, Valley D’Vine, or the nearby cafes such as River Valley Caf?? and Snapper Park. Stock up on seasonal produce from the local orchards and roadside stalls.
Wake to spectacular sunrises and fall asleep to the soothing sound of the waves and enjoy the ever-changing moods of the sea.
