A wonderful home located in the North End of Waihi Beach. The front of the house overlooks the beach, and has a great upper deck area for enjoying a barbecue and the sea and bush views. On the lower level of the house, are two bedrooms, bathroom, toilet and a lounge area. Large bi-fold doors open out from this area onto another large deck - perfect for sunbathing and another great BBQ and entertaining area. A spa pool is located here. The rear of the house backs onto farmland. A peaceful tropical style garden has been established, with another small private deck on which to relax. A fish table is located at the side of the house - perfect for preparing the fish you will have caught! There is an outside shower ( heated), so that you can wash off the sand when you return from the beach.
There is plenty to do at Waihi Beach - during the summer, there are gigs at the Waihi Hotel each night, wonderful cafes within walking distance and lots of walks both around the beach ( Orokawa and Homunga), in Waihi ( discover the Pit Rim Walkway) and in the nearby Karangahake Gorge, including the newly opened Hauraki Rail Trail. Waihi Beach is a very safe swimming area, with surf. The Waihi Beach Surf Lifesaving club organise daily events over the summer period, from Fun Run / Walks to sandcastle competitions.
