Our bach is spectacularly situated on a hilltop overlooking Koutu Point (8km north of Opononi) with sensational views of the dunes, Hokianga Harbour and the surrounding countryside. The house is extremely private and is set on a fully fenced acre of delightful tree-studded grounds and lawns ? there's plenty of room for the pets to roam. It features expansive decks on the north and west sides and there's lots of space to park cars and even your boat. It's within walking distance of the Koutu Boulders (our northern version of Moeraki's marbles!) and just a few minutes' drive from Opononi township, but you'll feel a million miles from anywhere. Our cottage is spacious and comfortable with all the mod cons but none of the pressures of everyday life.
