This section is located so close to Oneroa on the north side of the island and yet offers a sense of remoteness and seclusion. Te Aroha Avenue is a peaceful, leafy paper road through the native bush to Hekerua Bay. There is no vehicular access; enjoy the birdsong in the absence of traffic noise. The section is accessed by a, pedestrian right of way metres from the bus stop down the western side of 30 Hauraki Road above. Alternative access options are the walkway from Karaka Road and the other end of the avenue off Queen's Drive.
