Yes some things have changed but lots haven’t since bygone days. The sand between your toes, the long lingering Summer days, walking to the beach for a swim, picking the fruit trees along the way… No wonder ex pats want a part of the island as they have memories of their yesterdays when being a child growing up with blessed Kiwiana Summers by the beach, running wild and laughing.
What a great piece of dirt this is and so close to Little Oneroa Beach, dairy, fish and chip shop, playground etc Simply leave the house and walk down the hill to be on one of the most favourite North side swimming beaches lovingly known as Little O and casually walk about another 10 minutes and you will be at the Oneroa Village with all the restaurants/bars/cafes and shops.
There is no need for a car here as the bus passes by. The dwelling is an old weatherboard small bach one of the originals that have seen many sunrises and sunsets and people come and go. It has a large site of approx 1045sqm so gives so much scope and to boot it has a sea view!
