Family holiday house close to the beach at Waihi Beach. Handy to local shops at Wilson Road & cafes (Flat White). There is good swimming and surfing on the beach near the house and there is a park in front of the house which is nice for kids to play on. Orakawa Bay is a 1/2 hour walk over the hill from the North end of Waihi Beach. Bowentown Heads and Anzac bay at the top end of Tauranga Harbour are a short drive away and it is 10km into Waihi town with all of its' gold mining history. Karangahake Gorge is also easily accessible which is great for walks and biking to explore the old mining ruins and tunnels.
